Adult youth workers and young people from Clogher don Óige spent the day in Belfast before attending the Youthlink annual certificate presentation held in Belfast City Hall. The group were treated to a tour of Belfast led by local youth worker Darren O’ Reilly. The city sightseeing tour includes visits to the following famous places and landmarks.

Republican and Loyalist wall murals in West and North Belfast
Clonard Monastery for the Clonard Novena
Royal Avenue and Castlecourt Shopping Centre
Belfast City Hall
The visit to Belfast City Hall included the Youthlink Certificate Presentation at which Clogher don Óige youth leaders and young people received their certificates for training courses completed during the year. Certificates were presented for the New Day Programme Facilitators Course and Youth Leadership. Seventeen people from Clogher don Óige completed these courses which will help them implement and develop youth ministry initiatives within the diocese. |
