A number of the WYD Pilgrims who had been in Sydney last summer got the opportunity to catch up at a special retreat organised by Clogher don Óige.
Lough Derg proved an excellent venue and the retreat participants were very impressed with the modern retreat facilities available on the holy ground of Lough Derg. Pilgrims were given the opportunity to reflect on the good times at WYD as well as how they could keep the buzz from Sydney alive in their own lives and communities.
The retreat was led by a team from Dublin associated with the Shekinah Retreat Facilitation Course. The pilgrims had a wonderful weekend and were delighted with the retreat leaders and the content of the retreat. Clogher don Óige would like to sincerely thank the retreat leaders, staff at Lough Derg and our young people for taking time out of their busy schedules to come along.
