The Youth Ministry Studies programme which has been running in the Diocese now for two years has come to an end with up to 15 people from the diocese completing the course. The course will equip these people with knowledge and skills to contribute to Youth Ministry in their parish.
The Youth Ministry Studies Programme (Y.M.S.P) is an accredited training programme for all who are interested in working with and journeying with young people in a school, parish, 3rd level college or wider community setting.
It is an eight module programme, with each module taking place over a weekend/two days and it usually takes approx 2 years to complete.
Youth Ministry Studies Programme Retreat
A special retreat has been organised for the students who have recently completed the YMSP. It will be held on Sunday 14th June at Damien House(between Rockcorry and Cootehil) from 10am - 4pm.
