Clogher don Óige Retreat Team
Allows young people the opportunity to explore their own world with emphasis on their faith in an environment that it is relaxed, friendly, safe and child-orientated.
Our lives can be swamped with the noise and pace of modern life, it can be difficult to find time and space to tune into our own needs, desires, our hurts and our joys.
Young people need a ‘a little time out’ in the busyness of their lives.
Mission Statement
Our aim is to encourage, develop and nurture the Christian faith through a programme a spiritual formation.
Using Prayer and Gospel drama young people are able to express and develop their faith. This allows them to recognise the impact of the Catholic faith on their own lives.
Team Profile
The team is made up of volunteers who take time out from their jobs and homes to carry out this work for the Diocese.
All facilitators have completed the Shekinah Retreat Facilitation Course accredited by All Hollows College, Dublin. Facilitators have studied and worked in various aspects of Faith Development including Youth Ministry, New Heart New Spirit and hold qualifications in Theology, Education, Youth Ministry and Music.
